A 28m² stand that punched above its weight
How Kurage turned a wall-less corner of the Locomotive Workshop
into the most eye-catching stand at Trends & Traditions 2026
Every year, Holmris B8 brings together the entire international furniture industry for a day of talks on the latest trends, brands showcase their newest models, and every part of the industry comes to be inspired, network, and enjoy themselves.
The setting was the old Locomotive Workshop (Lokomotivværkstedet) in Copenhagen. A legendary venue, but also a place that imposes its limitations as an exhibitor. Fischer International is Denmark’s leading curtain brand. Kurage is part of the Fischer Group and was born out of a love of textiles, design, function, and graphic forms. Kurage makes innovative acoustic panels.
Kurage has had the most beautiful videos made, showing how you can mix the beautiful panels.
Naturally, the solution for the stand—just 28m² in size—had to be digital, so the visual material could be shown to its full advantage!
There were no walls, so the obvious solution was the Cube. Kurage also wanted to invite dialogue through example. Their online configurator was placed on a 32″ touchscreen. Furniture designer Kjeldtoft built a beautiful box for the screen in the same wood as the table it was to stand on.
All in all, a beautiful stand, a lovely day at the Locomotive Workshop, and a happy customer.

“The Cube from LCDMEDIA was without a doubt instrumental in elevating our exhibition stand at Trends & Traditions 2026.
We used the large 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 meter cube to show a film about our new Kurage acoustic concept, which would not have been possible to present physically at the fair.
The screen solution therefore became a really strong way to attract attention and tell the story behind the product.
The entire process with LCDMEDIA worked really well. Communication was easy, setup and takedown went without any problems, and we experienced good, fast service all the way through.
At the fair itself, the cube had a striking effect. It drew the eye and made our stand stand out, as we were the only ones with such a large and impressive digital solution. It attracted many visitors we wouldn’t otherwise necessarily have gotten into dialogue with.
We will most certainly be incorporating screen solutions into our future exhibition stands, showrooms, and events.”
