A COMPLETELY NORMAL TASK … and yet not at all! The installation of loudspeakers in the impressive 114,000 m² Normal warehouses in Hedensted and Horsens cannot be said to be an everyday occurrence for our installation team. But with a strong collaboration with the good people at Normal, it went exactly as it should. More than 600 zoned loudspeakers have been installed in the 78,000 m² warehouse in Hedensted alone.
“We wanted to replace the sound of forklifts with music. Not only does it create a more pleasant soundscape, but music also has a proven positive effect on the working environment and productivity.
Before, there were several places in the warehouse where employees had set up radios to create a little life, but it instead created a chaos of overlapping, diverse music that was far too loud in one place and far too low in another.
With the new solution, the disadvantages have been removed. The sound is now uniform throughout the building. The playlist is centrally controlled and plays the same pleasant music that customers hear when they visit Normal’s stores.”
