LED Video Walls That Earn
Their Place - From Shopfront to Hero Wall

Statement walls outside. Hero moments inside. Brightness that holds up against direct sunlight. Resolution that holds up at arm’s length. We design, deliver and run your LED installation across 50+ countries.

LED Video wall

An LED video wall is the right choice when scale and presence matter more than budget alone. Indoor LED walls anchor flagship stores, hero product moments and brand storytelling at the entrance. Outdoor LED handles shopfronts, drive-throughs and facade signage where daylight readability is non-negotiable.

The decision between a LED video wall and an indoor LED display often comes down to size and viewing distance. For installations above 110 inches, or where seamless multi-screen content matters, LED is typically the right answer. Below that size, professional LCD often delivers comparable quality at lower cost.

What separates a successful LED installation from a failed one is rarely the hardware itself. It is the planning around it. Pixel pitch matched to viewing distance, brightness specified for actual ambient conditions, content management that keeps the wall fresh, and a service model that handles the inevitable failed module on a Friday afternoon.

Any Shape. Any Space. Proven at Scale.

Three Ways to Use LED

Indoor LED video wall

Fine pixel pitch (1.2–2.5mm) for close viewing distances. Hero walls behind featured products, statement backdrops at flagship entrances, wayfinding in malls and travel retail.

A global toy retailer placed a single LED wall behind one product and saw sales of that product rise by 48%. No price change, no new packaging, just better in-store storytelling.

Up to 70% transparency means your shopfront still looks like a shopfront. Just one that moves.
Daylight passes through, content stays visible, the showroom behind the glass remains in view.

Particularly strong on high-traffic shopping streets where you compete for attention with neighbouring stores. See our dedicated Transparent LED page for specs.

5,000+ nits brightness, IP65+ weatherproofing, built to last 100,000 hours. Storefront façades, drive-throughs, petrol forecourts, transport hubs. Daylight-readable at noon, dimmed automatically at night.

Modular construction means a failed module can be swapped in 20 minutes instead of replacing the entire installation.

We Specify, So You Don't Have To

Pixel pitch ranges from 1.2mm for close-viewing hero walls to 10mm for large outdoor formats. Brightness spans 800 nits for indoor environments to 6,500 nits for direct sunlight. Lifespan is rated at 100,000 hours or roughly 11 years of 24/7 operation. All installations come with redundant power supplies and front- or rear-access modules for service without dismantling.

They Chose LCDMEDIA for Their LED

FC Midtjylland — flagship fan experience.

From an 80 m² shop to a 500 m² fan experience, with LED integrated throughout. Product display walls, atmospheric backdrops, curved hero installations. Three curved LED panels plus a 190″ main display anchor the merchandise floor.

A “behind the product” LED screen showing the toy in play lifted sales of that single product by 48%. No price change, no new packaging, no staff retraining. Just better in-store storytelling at the moment of consideration.

Storefront LED combined with in-store digital signage drove +8% revenue per store per month across the chain. Rolled out across multiple countries with one project manager owning the full timeline.

Will an LED wall pay for itself?

LED is the biggest single screen investment most retailers make. Test the business case before you spec the hardware — our Digital Screens ROI calculator uses uplift numbers from real rollouts.

What Buyers Usually Ask First

What does an LED video wall cost?
A 3×2m indoor LED wall at 2.5mm pixel pitch typically starts around 150,000 DKK including installation. Outdoor and finer pixel pitches cost more, often significantly. Cost depends on size, pixel pitch, brightness requirements, and install complexity. We give a fixed quote after a 20-minute scoping call rather than a price list, because the right specification depends on the actual space.
Rule of thumb: viewing distance in metres roughly equals pixel pitch in millimetres. A 3-metre viewing distance suits 2.5–3mm pitch. Less than 2 metres needs 1.5mm or finer. Above 5 metres, anything below 4mm is wasted budget. Viewers cannot perceive the difference. We help you specify based on the actual store layout.
Yes. We have a Danish installation team and global install partners across 50+ countries. One project manager owns the entire rollout. You do not deal with each local partner separately. We have completed multi-country LED rollouts for retailers operating in three or more continents.
PRIME monitors uptime, brightness drift and temperature 24/7 across the installation. SLA-based response, remote troubleshooting, on-site service within agreed windows. One contact handles every issue, regardless of which vendor manufactured the original hardware. Most LED issues are resolved remotely without anyone driving anywhere.
