where relevant and available, obtain environmental and ESG documentation from the manufacturers.

The CO₂ reporting is prepared in Verarca and covers, where relevant, Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant categories in Scope 3.

Packaging is kept to a minimum and sorted correctly, while remote support is used where it can reduce unnecessary transport.

Product-related climate footprint - PCF

Climate footprint at product level

The documentation may consist of, for example, the manufacturer’s PCF calculation, an environmental product declaration (EPD), a life cycle assessment (LCA) or information on energy consumption, materials, expected service life and repair options.

As the data basis can vary between manufacturers and product groups, LCDMEDIA states the data source, calculation year, system boundary and material assumptions as far as possible.

Estimated values are kept separate from manufacturer-verified information.

Return and disposal of end-of-life equipment

LCDMEDIA offers a documented return and disposal scheme for AV and IT equipment – including equipment taken down when a meeting room is rebuilt.

The scheme can include collection, registration, secure transport, sorting and treatment in accordance with applicable Danish environmental and waste legislation.

Traceability and documentation at unit level

As part of the ITAD process, LCDMEDIA can offer:

Registration and traceability at unit level
Functional testing and assessment of reuse options
Secure data erasure or destruction of storage media
Documentation of data erasure, reuse and environmental treatment
Reporting on quantities, weight and treatment method

Reuse, donation or resale only takes place once data has been erased, ownership has been clarified, and the customer has approved the agreed disposition model.

For the product areas where LCDMEDIA is covered by producer responsibility, the company is registered with Dansk Producentansvar and submits the required reporting.

For other products, LCDMEDIA checks that the relevant producers or importers are registered.
